not so far been able to get the consent of
Irrigation Department to supply water from the
Irrigation tank. They have also not so far got
the consent of the large number of farmers
through whose lands the pipeline is to be laid.
The project proponent stated that their efforts
in both these directons were going on.

The Committee considered the matter and
found that even more than six months after
making the presentation to the Committee and
the project proponent committed to get
consent for water and related matters, there
has been no progress. Since the project
cannot be taken up unless there is assured
supply of water, it was decided to close the
case. In case the project proponent does
succeed in future to tie up all necessary
arrangements for supply of water, the case
can then be reopened.
B(2) The points on which compliance was to be
submitted were not indicated to the project
proponent earlier. Now it was indicated to
them to furnish compliance in respect of the
following:
(i) Correct FSI calculations as per the already
approved norms (instead of anticipated which
is yet to be approved).
(ii) Redesign the total project (based on the
realistic FSI as mentioned in (i) above)
including parking, water requirement, waste
disposal etc.
(iii) Restriction of the punctures from the
highway to two instead of four.
(iv) Justification for the proposed parking in
accordance with the approved norms.
(v) Impact of the proposed development on
existing air quality and proposed measures to
mitigate the same.
(vi) Redesign the recharge pit for rainwater
harvesting on a realistic basis as per norms.
(vii) Redesign the internal roads taking into
account the fire fighting requirement.
