(iv) Commitment to adopt safety measures
such as barricading the mining area and land
filling etc to avoid mishaps.
(v) Furnishing a plan for taking up social
welfare measures indicating the year wise
programme and expenditure to be incurred on
the same.
(vi) Commitment to construct a catch water
drain around the periphery to prevent storm
water from the mining area from going out.
(vii) furnishing details of the afforestation
programme.
(viii) Preparation of the restoration plan for the
mine.
The cases at s.nos 2, 7, and 13 (M/s Novatel Hotel, Vastu Shilpa Complex Designer and Standard
Fireworks Industry) were already recommended for grant of prior environmental clearance subject to
certain conditions. Those cases need not have been brought before the Committee again; the same
may be placed before the Authority. The project proponents in respect of the cases at s.nos 1, 5, 6, 8, 9
and 11 (Zenith Venture Shopping, Sara Builders & Developers, Goel Patel Thakwani Developers,
Naiknaware Housing Development, Kakade Estate Developers Pvt Ltd and Uttam Galva Steel Ltd)
could not furnish the compliance in the meeting or attend the meeting. They may be requested to
remain present with compliance in the next meeting to be held from 9 th Februray to 11 th February,
failing which the case will be closed.
