His last album Safari (Universal) was No.1 in sales in Italy and generated four top ten singles. 18 U M P G | S P R I N G 2 0 1 0 Aura Dione UMP GERMANY RENEW NO. 1 SONGWRITER, ROBIN GRUBERT Keri Hilson’s single “I Like” entered the charts at No.1. UMP Germany also celebrates the recent renewal of the exclusive author’s contract with Robin Grubert who wrote and produced the number one hit single for the US star together with David Jost. “I Like” was also one of the two theme songs of Til Schweiger’s blockbuster film Zweiohrküken with more than two million cinemagoers in Germany within the first five weeks. The single has gone Gold. 100,000 copies sold. All tracks are co-published by UMP and Fansation. The first single release “Geboren Um Zu Leben” entered the German single charts at No. 3 and remains in the top 5. Last year Unheilig also signed a record label deal with Universal Music Group and they are considered to be one of the “Breaking Acts” for 2010. The band is currently touring through 16 German cities and will play at several festivals this summer.
THE KILLERS AWARDED BEST INTERNATIONAL ARTISTS UMP artists The Killers were awarded the prestigious ONDAS 2009 prize for Best International Artists. This is the crowning glory to a successful year as their latest studio album Day & Age is certified Gold and the band have sold out concerts in Spain (Madrid & Barcelona). The Killers closed the most important summer festival FIB 2009 in front of more than 40,000 people. The ONDAS Awards are the first radio and television awards instituted in Spain, and are highly respected.
