CONSORTIUM ITALIAN TECHNOLOGY (CIT)<br />
Consortium <strong>Italian</strong> Technology (CIT) is a consortium that gathers some advanced SMEs companies based at<br />
Piedmont, Tuscany and Umbria which work as a sole entity.<br />
CIT represents an integrated chain <strong>of</strong> companies specialized both in high technology , mechanics, testing,<br />
quality control accessories, engineering, design. Such companies are able to supply and produce<br />
specialized equipment or particular components which can be used to produce other equipment<br />
(automotive parts, racing and robotic parts).<br />
In the consortium are experience and pr<strong>of</strong>essionalism to:<br />
A) design and manufacture <strong>of</strong> molds for plastics and die casting related sectors such as automotive,<br />
telephony, appliances<br />
B) molding <strong>of</strong> plastic parts with presses from 30 to 1600 tons<br />
C) for construction <strong>of</strong> progressive dies and stamping <strong>of</strong> sheet metal parts<br />
D)Manufacturing and construction <strong>of</strong> parts in the field <strong>of</strong> Oil & Gas ,Compression ,Energy and Aerospace.<br />
E)Design and production <strong>of</strong> components and holding devices for handling and processing with automated<br />
and robotic transfer system, also arms for handling grips.<br />
F)Production and marketing <strong>of</strong> components for automation, as slides and linear motion systems with steel<br />
shafts and holding device with pneumatic motion.<br />
G)Subcontracting and machining <strong>of</strong> engine parts<br />
The consortium works mainly with the following materials: aluminum, iron, plastic, rubber, special alloys ,<br />
titanium ,steal applied to mechanics.<br />
Each company is a part in itself <strong>of</strong> a chain linked to other units for supplier or final products. For this reason<br />
the whole cluster is wider than the firms belonging to the consortium itself, representing by this way a<br />
serious, reliable and pr<strong>of</strong>essional system which aims at establishing concrete commercial and<br />
manufacturing partnerships and joint ventures with Turkish counterparts.<br />
