Not to be used with Stainless <strong>steel</strong> wheels!<br />
Roller chains and Flyer chains, often have to work under corrosive conditions,<br />
this does not always justify the use of stainless <strong>steel</strong> chains on account<br />
of commercial reasons.<br />
Corrosive conditions arise by steam of different sorts, jets of water or salty<br />
environments.<br />
To increase the life span of standard chains, Sedis has developed a special<br />
process (DELTA – ZED). The treatment comprises a chemical coating on the<br />
basis of zinc and chrome. The pins are chrome plated and guarantee a better<br />
wear performance at constant rupture strength.<br />
The Delta – Z roller chains are therefore anti rust chains, which cover a large<br />
spectrum, where a normal standard chain is insufficient and a stainless <strong>steel</strong><br />
chain is too expensive.<br />
