The Dining Hall was all decked out for the
Junior-Senior Banquet. All the tables were
decorated with sparkling candles set in a
sparkly sea foam, and at each setting there
were place setting cards and a menu.
“Ma” Brown and her dining hall employees
planned a very delicious meal, which con-
sisted of: Swiss steak, mashed potatoes,
gravy, peas, bread and butter, and last but
not least the dessert, Apple Crisp, which
everybody was anxiously waiting for. It
seems that the dessert is always the favorite
of the students, and we were sure that every-
one could have eaten all night, but we all
wanted to go to the Gym and dance to the
dreamy” orchestra that was hired for this
special occasion.
All winter long everyone waits for the time
when they can dust off their suits and re-
move their formals from the storage closet.
It’s time for the Prom.
The theme for the Prom was “SAYNORA”
which means “till we meet again.”
Our prom, held on the night of March 12th,
was the climax of our Junior year. By nine
o’clock, the gymnasium was filled with
handsome young men in their Sunday best,
and lovely young ladies in gowns of silk and
lace. This night of splendor has ended, but
it will always live in our memories.
