Table S1: Geographic origins of accessions from the USDA grape germplasm collection.
The 583 unique vinifera cultivars used in the present study were grouped into their countries and
regions of origin based mainly on data retrieved from the Germplasm Resource Information
Network (http://www.ars-grin.gov/). The geographic origins of 404 vinifera cultivars are shown
here and an additional 179 cultivars are of unknown geographic origin. The 59 sylvestris
accessions (N = 59) were grouped into countries and regions of origin based on their sampling
location.
