The Guesta Chaforum
Organized by Calvin Chaffey
The following was developed by Calvin Chaffey of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, from the
Guesta Chaforum in an attempt to place that material in usable form. The Guesta Chaforum was
written by the Reverend W.K.W Chaffey (1864- ). It came into my hands from Bonita Hartwig,
Douglas Chaffey and later from Calvin Chaffey. Care was taken by Calvin Chaffey to accurately
reflect the changes in the spelling of the Chaffey name as it evolved down through this line. It is
supposed that the name changes were both from phonetic spellings by those who could not write
and changes that were made by intent.
There has not been any connection established between this line and the line that has been
developed in the main body of this work. This is an example of the fact that there are many
different Chaffey lines besides the one that we have followed.
First Generation
1. RICHARD CHAFY. RICHARD died in 1523.
