What is BOMBAL ® ?<br />

Food products require safety, especially <strong>meat</strong> based products.<br />

Meat as a raw material belongs to the most sensitive food<br />

<strong>meat</strong> processing highly efficient BOMBAL ® products are available,<br />

all of them with the same objective, the prevention of germ<br />

growth.<br />

How does it work?<br />

The antibacterial effect of BOMBAL ® is originated by its powerful<br />

ion donation ability. The presence of these ions creates a<br />

hostile environment <strong>for</strong> bacteria to grow. Sodium Citrate, apart<br />

from its antibacterial effect, is also important <strong>for</strong> antioxidation<br />

<strong>and</strong> thereby <strong>for</strong> improvement of color retention during storage.<br />

How to use it?<br />

BOMBAL ® is easy to use <strong>and</strong> dissolves quickly in water without<br />

any separation of the ingredients in the brine. The usage rate of<br />

BOMBAL ® is 0.5 % of total weight of the product. The total<br />

weight of the product includes other ingredients such as water,<br />

binders <strong>and</strong> other <strong>functional</strong> additives. It can be added at any<br />

stage of the process.<br />
