CONCLUSIONS<br />

Precipitati<strong>on</strong> <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> ir<strong>on</strong> oxides <strong>from</strong> <strong>FeCl3</strong> soluti<strong>on</strong>s, in <strong>the</strong> presence <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> urotropin<br />

at 90 oC, is a complex process which depends <strong>on</strong> <strong>the</strong> c<strong>on</strong>centrati<strong>on</strong>s <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g><br />

<strong>FeCl3</strong> and urotropin and <strong>the</strong> time <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> aging <strong>the</strong> precipitati<strong>on</strong> system. <str<strong>on</strong>g>Urotropin</str<strong>on</strong>g><br />

undergoes chemical decompositi<strong>on</strong> in acidic medium at elevated temperature,<br />

thus generating OH – i<strong>on</strong>s.<br />

The c<strong>on</strong>centrati<strong>on</strong>s <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> <strong>FeCl3</strong> varied <strong>from</strong> 0.005 to 0.3 M, and those <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> urotropin<br />

<strong>from</strong> 0.025 to 0.25 M. On <strong>the</strong> basis <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> analyses <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> <strong>the</strong> precipitates by
