The automotive technology
programs at Penta Career
Center is hosting a “Cruise-
In” car show on Wednesday,
September 26 from 5 to 8
p.m. on the Penta campus,
9301 Buck Road, Perrysburg.
All types of vehicles and
motorcycles are welcome to
attend. Vehicle owners are admitted
free of charge as long
as they bring items to donate
to Perrysburg Township’s annual
Operation Breadbasket
drive.
Items accepted include
non-perishable food items or
cash donations. For more than
25 years, the Perrysburg
Township Fire and Police departments
have sponsored
Operation Breadbasket to assist
families in the community.

Law and Government Explorer
Post recently elected
the leadership of the post for
the coming year. Abdurrafey

Festival Choir
seeks new
members
The Christian Festival
Choir invites area singers to
join them in preparation for
their annual Christmas benefit
concert, the cantata “Journey
of Promises” to be held
at Whitmer High School on
Thursday, December 6.
Members come from
many churches and are being
sought for all positions.
This year donations from
the free concert will go to
Mom’s House.
Rehearsals will begin Saturday,
September 29, from 9
a.m. to noon, at Calvary Assembly

continue on Saturdays until
