The following students represented Woodstock High School: Heath Golden, right, fourth place in the state banking and finance; Heath Golden (junior) and Douglas Bohn (senior), center, placed 19th in the state in banking financial systems team presentation; and Brandon Moulton (senior), left, 10th place in the state spreadsheet. Woodstock High School also received Bronze Level Chapter of the Year Award and Membership Achievement Excellence Awards. Macedonia third-grader Sydney Beasley won second place in the State Reflections program. The theme for Reflections was WOW and Sydney won in the film production category. Dr. Jennifer Scrivner, principal of Oak Grove Elementary, is pictured with Megan Ingham, a third-grader at Oak Grove with her first place win in the Invention Convention competition at the Cherokee County Science Olympiad held in March. Also pictured with Dr. Scrivner and Megan is Ms. Madeline Hall – coach.

LIVE MUSIC • My Corner Office, 149 Reinhardt College Parkway, Canton, presents an open mic night that is free to the public May 25 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Bring your guitar, your poem, your song and your groupies. Dinner will be served at 6:30 p.m. on May 29 and May 30 before the concert. The matinee concert will be at 3 p.m. on May 31.
