Gateway overview:
• The gateway is the interface between the XI/ON
periphery modules and PROFIBUS-DP
• It is responsible for the data exchange between the
XI/ON station and the PROFIBUS-DP master
• The connection to the PROFIBUS-DP is made via
9-pole SUB-D socket or by direct wiring
• Hexadecimal rotary switches for setting the
PROFIBUS-DP station address (001 - 125)
• LEDs for indicating supply voltage, group or bus
errors
