BARRY FISHER’S PREDICTIONS
Altrincham Kersal v Burnage
A top-of-the-table clash. A tight game, but I think Burnage have recovered their form and will end Kersal’s
unbeaten record. That’ll put the pressure on Liverpool St.Helens, who should finish top of the table today.
Sandbach v Northwich
A Local derby. Northwich, who have found some form since they had two players sent off againt Burnage
and have crept up the table, will be too strong for Sandbach. Northwich win.
Vale of Lune v Broughton Park.
Park seem to have gone off the boil recently and, like us, lost to Kirby Lonsdale. Vale are hard to beat at
home, so a Vale win.
West Park v New Brighton.
A bottom of the table clash. New Brighton have eased themselves out of the bottom three and will be too
strong for West Park, who look doomed to go down. New Brighton win.
Wigton v Liverpool St.Helens.
At home, Wigton are a better side, as all their farmers become available, but they will still lose to a strong
Liverpool St.Helens side.
Wilmslow v Leigh
Unless Wilmslow cut out the errors in their game, they will give away too many points as they did at Kirby
Lonsdale last weekend. My heart says a Wilmslow win but my brain is less certain. Leigh might just shade
it, although I haven’t seen them play. I hope I am wrong. Let’s keep the faith and go for a narrow home win.
Wirral v Kirby Lonsdale
Three wins on the trot have given some encouragement to the Cumbrians, but I think Wirral will be too
strong at home. A Wirral win.
