husband lyle and I are now the proud
parents of three boys! Jarod is 9,
logan is 2 1/2 and Tyler just turned 1
on September 17th. As you can see there
is quite a gap in age between my first 2
sons, and I credit much of our success in
having more children to Sister Catherine
Whalen, SSND. Sister Kate, my
father-in-law’s sister, knew how badly
we wanted another child, she enlisted
the prayers of her fellow SSNDs on our
behalf! Needless to say it worked, and
we were blessed twice more. I’ve been a
stay-at-home mom since our first son was
born and I am loving every minute of it!

Angeles, CA on July 15th. This is their
first child. lea lives in North Hollywood
CA and works for Marriott International
as a Director of Finance.

Melissa Fruhbeis Cornish ’95 was
surprised by some special angels at a
baby shower in the Charlotte, NC area
on September 13, 2008. Melissa’s first
baby has some pretty amazing aunts.

Aimee Elizabeth Torres ’96 and
Alejandro Alfonso latorre were married
on May 17, 2008 at the Church of
St. Ignatius loyola in Manhattan.
Many angels were in attendance! Aimee
is working as an associate at the law firm
of Kasowitz, Benson, Torres & Friedman
llP in Manhattan, and her husband is
an assistant vice president in the Markets
group of the Federal Reserve Bank of
New York. Aimee and Alex are residing
