J-4. In<strong>for</strong>mation on ROKG licensing requirements and testing procedures may be obtained from the<br />
Human Resources Development Service of Korea (HRDSK) and its regional offices (ROs) located<br />
throughout Korea. Addresses and telephone numbers <strong>for</strong> the HRDSK and its regional offices are<br />
provided in Appendix L.<br />
J-5. ROKG licensing requirements and testing procedures <strong>for</strong> special heavy equipment not covered<br />
under Korea Construction Equipment Management Law or Road Traffic Law are administered by the<br />
heavy equipment license section at the city or provincial civil affairs office concerned.<br />
J-6. ROKG license requirements and test procedures are subject to change without prior notice. The<br />
appropriate ROKG agency should be contacted <strong>for</strong> current in<strong>for</strong>mation on licensing requirements and<br />
testing procedures.<br />
J-7. <strong>USFK</strong> PERFORMANCE TEST. Applicants must successfully pass a <strong>USFK</strong> per<strong>for</strong>mance test <strong>for</strong><br />
the type of equipment to be operated (see Appendix M).<br />
J-8. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE. Specialized experience is progressively responsible experience<br />
operating and/or supervising the operation of the specific type of equipment of the position to be filled.<br />
J-9. QUALITY OF EXPERIENCE. Applicants <strong>for</strong> leader positions and above must have 1 year of<br />
specialized experience with the type of equipment operated, comparable to the next lower level in that<br />
field. Applicants <strong>for</strong> Senior Leader and Foreman positions will also be rated as qualified if they have 2<br />
years of specialized experience with the type of equipment operated, comparable to two job levels<br />
below the job <strong>for</strong> which being considered.<br />
J-10. ENGLISH ABILITY. Each component establishes requirements <strong>for</strong> English ability and<br />
procedures <strong>for</strong> English proficiency tests.<br />
