j. Must lift a weight of 125 pounds from the floor and carry the weight 100 feet (approximately 30<br />
meters) without stopping.<br />
k. Must walk the length of the beam, carrying the length of hose, without falling off, or stepping off<br />
the beam. (The beam, which is secured to the floor, is 3 to 4 inches (7 to 10 centimeters) wide and 20<br />
feet (approximately 6 meters) long. The length of fire hose weighs at least 20 pounds (9 kilograms).<br />
l. The selecting official will conduct agility test <strong>for</strong> firefighting positions during the selection<br />
process, after the issuance of a referral list.<br />
