brian Canfield is the Chair of the Board of <strong>TELUS</strong> Corporation. His career with <strong>TELUS</strong> spans more than 50 years,<br />
including almost a year as interim Chief Executive Officer of <strong>TELUS</strong> (September 1999 to July 2000), four years as Chair<br />
and Chief Executive Officer of BC TELECOM Inc., three years as President and Chief Executive Officer and<br />
one year as President and Chief Operating Officer. He retired as an executive of BC TELECOM Inc.<br />
in 1997. Brian was named an Honorary Doctor of Technology by the British Columbia Institute<br />
of Technology in 1997. He has received a Fellowship Award from the Institute of Corporate<br />
Directors, and is a Member of the Order of British Columbia and the Order of Canada.<br />

Stockwell Day is a strategic advisor and consultant. He has served at the provincial and federal levels of<br />
government for over 25 years. From 1986 to 2000, Stockwell served with the Alberta government in a variety of roles<br />
including Minister of Labour, Minister of Social Services, and Provincial Treasurer, Minister of Finance. From 2000 to<br />
2011, Stockwell served as a Member of Parliament with the federal government, holding various positions including<br />
Leader of the Official Opposition, Minister of Public Safety, Minister of International Trade, Minister for the Asia-Pacific<br />
Gateway and Senior Minister Responsible for British Columbia and President of the Treasury Board. Stockwell did<br />
not seek re-election in the 2011 general election. Stockwell is a well-known conference and event speaker. Stockwell<br />
attended the University of Victoria and has an Honorary Doctorate from the University of St. Petersburg, Russia.<br />
