1.3 Installation To install Stock Manager, double click the SetupStockManager.exe icon and follow the installation steps. The application is installed to the c:\Proxis Software\Stock Manager folder by default. After installation, the Stock Manager application can be purchased and registered to unlock the demo mode. Demo mode is limited to 10 inventory items. Please call us to locate an authorized reseller. The Stock Manager installer will automatically create a shortcut to the program on the desktop and in the Windows Start Menu. Figure 2. 1.3.2 Registration and Activation To register and activate the full version of Stock Manager: 1. Copy down the Registration Number found in the Product Registration screen. 2. Purchase a software license from a Proxis reseller. Please contact us for a list of authorized resellers. 3. The Proxis reseller will issue an activation code based on the registration number. 4. Mobile device licenses must also be purchased for using Stock Manager Mobile barcode scanning software. Figure 3. Product Registration Screen Stock Manager is registered per machine and can be used in a networked, multiuser environment. It is recommended that the number of networked users is limited to 5-10.
