The top of the screen shows four <strong>Restore</strong> options as shown below.<br />

• Overwrite the existing database – the generated T-<strong>SQL</strong> comm<strong>and</strong> will include the<br />

REPLACE option, instructing <strong>SQL</strong> <strong>Server</strong> to overwrite the currently existing database<br />

information. Since we are overwriting an existing database, in this example we want<br />

to check this box. Note that it is advised to use the REPLACE option with care, due to<br />

the potential for overwriting a database with a backup of a different database.<br />
