Once the Add <strong>SQL</strong> <strong>Server</strong> screen opens, you can register a new server. Several pieces of<br />

information will be required, as shown below.<br />

• <strong>SQL</strong> <strong>Server</strong>: This is the name of the <strong>SQL</strong> <strong>Server</strong> to register.<br />

• Authentication type: Choose to use your Windows account to register or a<br />

<strong>SQL</strong> <strong>Server</strong> login.<br />

• User name: <strong>SQL</strong> Login user name, if using <strong>SQL</strong> <strong>Server</strong> authentication.<br />

• Password: <strong>SQL</strong> Login password, if using <strong>SQL</strong> <strong>Server</strong> authentication.<br />

• Remember password: Check this option to save the password for a <strong>SQL</strong> <strong>Server</strong> login.<br />

• Native <strong>Backup</strong> <strong>and</strong> restore history: Time period over which to import details of native<br />

<strong>SQL</strong> <strong>Server</strong> backup <strong>and</strong> restore activity into your local cache.<br />
