<strong>SQL</strong> <strong>Backup</strong> Pro Configuration<br />

Your newly-registered server should be visible in the default group (the icon to the right<br />

of the server name indicates that this is a trial version of the software). Right-click the<br />

server name to bring up a list of options, as shown in Figure A-7, some of which we will be<br />

using throughout this book.<br />

Go ahead <strong>and</strong> select Options… to bring up the <strong>Server</strong> Options window.<br />

File management<br />

The File Management tab allows you to configure backup file names automatically,<br />

preserve historical data <strong>and</strong> clean up MSDB history on a schedule.<br />
