Nakeya Isabell<br />

Volunteer Assistant Coach<br />

1st Season<br />

Nakeya Isabell joins the Golden Eagles for the second time in her<br />

career, this time as a volunteer assistant coach. Isabell left her mark on<br />

CSI women’s basketball as a player in 2004-2005. She led the Golden<br />

Eagles into the NJCAA National Championship game and a 34-2<br />

overall record. She averaged 9.3 points, 5.6 rebounds, 5.2 assists and<br />

3.7 steals for CSI that season, earning Region 18 first-team honors and<br />

All American honors.<br />

From CSI, she transferred to Pepperdine University, playing there<br />

for three years. She holds records for the Waves in career and season<br />

steals as well as season and career assists.
