Obituary: R. Britzke Dies at 82--Funeral is Wednesday in Fort Atkinson--FORT<br />

ATKINSON--Rudolph L. Britzke, 82, of route 1, Jefferson, died Sunday evening at 7 o'clock at his<br />

home after a short illness. He was born Sept. 9, 1886 in Kroghville, the son of Mr. and Mrs.<br />

August Britzke.<br />

Mr. Britzke was engaged in farming his entire life. He was married Nov. 27, 1907 to Helena<br />

<strong>Bogenschneider</strong>.<br />

He attended Northwestern College, Watertown, and was a member of the school's football<br />

team.<br />

He was a member of St. Pauls Lutheran Church.<br />

Surviving are one son, Armin, Hebron, and one daughter, Mrs. Herbert Lehmann, Jefferson,<br />

four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.<br />

The funeral will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at St. Paul's Church. The Rev. Donald Bitter will<br />

officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.<br />

Friends may pay their respects at the Nitardy Funeral Home starting Tuesday afternoon. The<br />

body will lie in state at the church starting at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday.<br />
