Obituary: Augusta R. Belstner, 98, of Fort Atkinson, died on Tuesday, Dec. 19, 1995, at the Fort<br />

Atkinson Health Care Center.<br />

Born on Sept. 30, 1897, in Lake Mills, to Frank and Marie (Mundt) <strong>Bogenschneider</strong>, she<br />

married Otto Draeger on Dec. 20, 1917, in Lake Mills. He died on March 30, 1937. On Jan. 26,<br />

1952, she married George Belstner. He died on June 20, 1990.<br />

Mrs. Belstner was a member of Friedens United Church of Christ in Fort Atkinson.<br />

Surviving are nine grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; one<br />

sister, Esther Brown of Fort Atkinson; and a niece, Joanne Belstner of Fort Atkinson.<br />

She was predeceased by her parents; two daughters, Viola and Inez; three brothers; and four<br />

sisters.<br />

Funeral services will be held at the Nitardy Funeral Home in Fort Atkinson at 11 a.m. on<br />

Friday, with the Rev. Ian McLean officiating. Burial will take place in Lakeview Cemetery in Fort<br />

Atkinson.<br />

Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 10 a.m. until the time of services.<br />

Winchell, Jefferson, and Pat Vial and Doug Miller, both of Fort Atkinson; 24 great-grandchildren,<br />

eight great-great-grandchildren, and a niece, Joanne Belstner, Fort Atkinson.<br />

She was preceded in death by her parents; two daughters, Viola and Inez; a son, Victor<br />

Draeger; three brothers and four sisters.<br />

Otto Julius Draeger is the son of John Draeger and Louisa Braunschweig. He was born on 29<br />

Apr 1889 in Lake Mills, Jefferson, Wisconsin. Burial 1937 in Lakeview Cemetery, Fort Atkinson,<br />

Jefferson County, Wisconsin. He died on 30 Mar 1937 in Jefferson, Jefferson, Wisconsin.<br />

Obituary: Native of Lake Mills Is Suicide Hanging Victim--Despondency over financial matters has<br />

been given as the reason for the suicide of Otto Draeger, 47, by County Coroner Kieck, Draeger<br />

was found a week ago Tuesday in the hayloft of the Keating brothers farm near Fort Atkinson, on<br />

which he had served as manager for the past 12 years. He was born in Lake Mills, April 29, 1889;<br />

and was married to Augusta <strong>Bogenschneider</strong>, December 20, 1917. Surviving are his wife, two<br />

children, and his mother, Mrs. Eliza Walther of Jefferson.<br />
