Obituary: Stanley Mickelson--CAMBRIDGE--Stanley E. Michelson, 67, of Cambridge, died Friday,
Dec. 17, 1993, at Fort Atkinson Memorial Hospital.
Born April 22, 1926, in the Town of Christiana, the son of Theodore and Lettie Jacobson, he
married Bernice Smithback on May 8, 1946.
He was a farmer in the Town of Albion for most of his life. He was a director of Medina
Insurance Co., a tobacco buyer for Lorilard and a Spangler Seeds dealer.
He was a member of East Koshkonong Lutheran Church.
He is survived by his wife; three daughters, Tari Rasmussen of Poynette, Jane (Stan) Foreman
of Edgerton and Gail (Steve) Skaar of Fort Atkinson; two sons, Randy (April) Mickelson and Scott
(Julie) Mickelson, both of Cambridge; two sisters, Isabel (Vernon) Reuterskiold of Fort Atkinson
and Betty Larson of Rochester, Minn.; eight grandchildren, Chris foreman, Charles Kubina,
Amanda and Adam Skaar and Maggie, Hannah, Sarah and Patrick Mickelson; special friends
Tony and Carol Kubina; and many other friends and relatives.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. today, Monday, Dec. 20, at Nitardy Funeral Home in
Cambridge, with the Rev. Richard Sansgaard officiating. Burial was in East Koshkonong
Cemetery.
Nitardy Funeral Home of Cambridge assisted the family.
