Stanley Buye, age 86, of New Lisbon, died at the Fair View Nursing Home, on Monday, Feb. 16,<br />

2004. Stanley was born on July 4, 1917, in Waukesha, the son of Marcus and Laura (Strassburg)<br />

Buye. He worked at Arthur Overgaard Construction from 1933 until his retirement in 1967, as<br />

partner and part owner. He enjoyed wintering and fishing in Florida, and his lakehouse in<br />

Wisconsin in the summer. He was a great Wisconsin Badgers and Green Bay Packers fan and<br />

loved to play cribbage. He will be missed by family and friends. Survivors include his wife,<br />

Margaret (Steiner); a daughter, Sue Ann (Marple) of Florida; sons, Art of New Lisbon, and Steven<br />

(Nina) of Florida; and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lucille and later<br />

his second wife, Genevieve. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 19, 2004,<br />

at BETHANY LUTHERAN CHURCH, 701 Grove St., Mauston. Burial will be at the Mauston<br />

Cemetery. Friends may call from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 18, 2004, at the<br />

CRANDALL FUNERAL HOME, Mauston, and from 10 a.m. until the time of services at Bethany<br />

Lutheran Church on Thursday.<br />
