more than 100 Caldwell
High students will contribute to the production
of this year’s musical.
For those reasons and more, this is a
musical you don’t want to miss.

TO ENJOY THE SHOW
e musical has been described as follows:
is world is populated by a motley
crew of eccentrics, non-conformists, Salvation
Army do-gooders, or just plain irresponsibles:
gamblers, night-club
entertainers, and various categories of
"jerks". It is this world, and these people,
that are found in Guys and Dolls, a musical
comedy originally described in the
programme as a "fable of Broadway"
More than 100 Caldwell High students
have contributed to this production.
Kids are not only singing and
dancing, but also are building and painting
sets, sewing costumes and orchestrating
the technical elements.
Students make all the music, too.
CHS band and and orchestra will play.
is is music teacher David Burton’s
first role as producer. Burton is a firstyear
in Caldwell. at’s why he got help
from professionals — adult acting
coaches and choreographers have
stopped by rehearsal.

is senior loves
the color blue, the
book “Velvet Elvis”
and the movie
“Forest Gump.”
He’d love to
attend college at the
University of Idaho
or Northwest Nazarene College and
major in theology. He wants to be a
minister.
Traveling to Asia would be the trip
of a lifetime for Chris.
Chris said he’s most proud of
“learning to be myself.”
He owns dogs named Nate, Zoe
and Chester e Molester and spends
his free time playing frisbee golf or
poker. Dad’s a chiropractor and mom
works at the police department.
MEGAN AUGUSTUS

Megan’s a talker
who loves to sing.
Her favorite color is
blue, she loves most
foreign foods and
her favorite childhood
memory is a
two-month trip to
Canada with her grandparents. Megan
lives with four siblings and more than
200 animals, including horses, cows,
pigs and too many dogs to count.
Her father is a doctor in Caldwell
but they live on a family farm.
Megan wants to be an ambassador
to Spain when she grows up. e junior
hasn’t decided where she wants to go to
college but she knows she will and she
wants to major in international
relations and minor in Spanish.
e only thing Megan doesn’t like is
the dark.
REBECCA SUMMERS

this rising star Yuki
— it’s her middle
name, which means
snow or happiness
in Japanese.
Yuki loves anything
bright and lots
of different books and movies.
She wants to travel the world and
not miss stopping in Greece. She loves
to sing and dance and loves watching
musicals.
She owns a nearly perfect GPA and
plans to attend Seattle Pacific University
to become a marine biologist.
Yuki’s mom was born and raised in
Japan and came to the United States to
go to school. Her dad works with
elevators.
VIRGINIA MIKESELL
Playing Miss Adelaide
is junior is a
straight-A student
who is an excellent
violinist.
A few of her favorite
things include
lasagna, the colors
yellow and
turquoise (but not when they are together)
and the movie “Seven Brides
for Seven Brothers.’’
Virginia wants to go to college but
her dream is to be a stay-at-home mom
and care for at least three children.
She loves studying nutrition and
making desserts.
Most people don’t know that
Virginia has a hat collection that is
displayed on her bedroom wall from
the ceiling to the floor.
She has a brother and three sisters,
two dogs named Bowtie and Candy
and a bunny named Oreo.
JORDAN OZUNA

Jordan stays as
busy as a high
school senior possibly
could, serving as
the student body
president and
maintaining a
perfect GPA.
She has sophisticated taste — she
loves the Twilight Series, Plato’s Republic,
her political philosophy class and
movies like “Across the Universe” and
“Beauty and the Beast.”
If she could do anything it would be
to relax and read, if she could go any
where it would be London and if she
could buy anything it would be a ring.
She’s most proud of landing lead
roles in musicals over the years and
she’s also very proud of her family.
CALEB TRACEY
Playing Nathan Detroit
is will be
Caleb’s 15th musical
or show performance
and is the most
difficult only because
he must cut
his hair to play the
role of Nathan.
Caleb loves the book “Lord of the
Flies,’’ and the color green. He’s a major
fan of movies. He watches movies all
the time and owns a big collection.
When forced to pick a favorite, he’ll say
“Gladiator.’’
He wants to visit a town in Ethiopia
that has 10 churches. His favorite
classes are AP chemistry and political
philosophy — it’s no coincidence that
these are taught by his favorite teachers.

a psychologist who helps people
(maybe teens) conquer addictions and
survive abuse.
