HAZELWOOD BAPTIST CHURCH CAR SHOW
On Saturday, June 16, 2012, Mike Woodard directed what has come to be one of the best car shows we
attend. As usual, it was well attended. Also as usual, the hospitality of the congregation was unsurpassed.
Imagine checking out one cool car after another while young people offered to get you soda, hot dogs,
hamburgers and funnel cakes! Ummm…Did I say they had funnel cakes?
Mike, son Jamie and his medium blue, high performance B&B Cobra roadster were first on the scene to
establish the club area with a canopy. Joe Marino brought his outstanding V8 powered Ferrari Dino. Andre
Garamella, Tammy and Mary were there in his brown and tan FiberFab 1952 MG-TD, while Frank Garamella
drove his brown and tan CMC 1929 Mercedes Gazelle. I drove a blue Brunton Stalker 1962 Lotus Seven. Also
stopping by to check out the show were members Greg Sacks, Joe Messler, Gary Woods and friend Rich
Thomas. The hot afternoon gave way to some sprinkles that only cooled things off and felt good. Many prizes
were distributed by the Church and a good time was had by all. Check out these pictures.
