Debbie M. Dantin is a registered professional engineer (in Florida<br />
and Georgia), and has over twenty-five (25) years of<br />
transportation engineering and planning experience in Florida and<br />
Georgia. Her hands-on experience is diverse in traffic operations,<br />
signalization/ITS, corridor and mobility studies, developments of<br />
regional impacts (DRI), planned unit developments (PUD), design<br />
standards, expert witness testimony, roadway corridor studies,<br />
preliminary design and environmental (PD&E) studies, access<br />
management/permitting, multi-modal transportation master plans, transportation<br />
policy development, transportation concurrency, traffic impact studies, traffic<br />
calming, regional bicycle and pedestrian plans, and parking and circulation<br />
studies. Projects range in size from $2,500 - $250,000, with management of<br />
projects of up to $8.5M including planning, design and implementation of<br />
Tallahassee’s Advanced Transportation Management System to operate and<br />
maintain all signals within <strong>Leon</strong> <strong>County</strong>.<br />
Ms. Dantin is President of Dantin Consulting formed in March 2009, a DBE firm<br />
certified with FDOT, State of Florida, <strong>Leon</strong> <strong>County</strong> and various local governments<br />
in Florida. She has both public and private sector experience; Senior Vice<br />
President/owner of Genesis Group from 2001-2009 where she begin statewide<br />
transportation engineering and planning services; and ten (10) years with the<br />
City of Tallahassee serving as City Traffic Engineer from 1995-2001.<br />
