Our tournaments provide the perfect opportunity for your team to
showcase their newly acquired skills. Test your new skills against the
other UK schools in your chosen sport and age group as you enjoy
several fixtures in a pool and playoff or round-robin format.
Post tournament, everyone will get a chance to celebrate the day’s play
at the awards ceremony, where all students are given a participation
medal. Furthermore, additional recognition is given to Player of the
Week for each team, and winners of the sporting tournament - judged
by the MasterClass coaching staff.
Our experienced in-resort Sports Coaching Staff will officiate matches
and ensure that your team is on the right pitch at the right time,
leaving your hands free to manage your team.

GSA to compete against each other on court, whilst bonding off. The
girls will also have the chance to receive tips and support from elite

on-site team building activities and enjoy the evening entertainment.
With the weekend being held in the beautiful and secure location

grade 1 Elizabethan mansion and - following a multi million pound
refurbishment - the facility has been transformed into an exciting
activity and educational centre.
The safe and secure setting boasts a host of on-site team building
activities supervised by the highly qualified staff. Whilst staying
at Condover there will be multi bedded dorms or 4 to 12 beds for
students, with most dorms having en-suite facilities. Staff and teachers
can stay in twin and single rooms, again most offering en-suite

What were your impressions upon first point of contact?
Very good and reassuring as this was the first trip I had organised.
How easy did MasterClass make it for you to launch your tour?
Very easy and they were quick to respond to any questions I had.
What did you do to promote and sell your tour to your students and their parents?
We completed an initial presentation outlining the events of the tour. For parents
we completed a separate presentation with the help of a Masterclass representative.

How did you engage your students and their
parents in the pre-tour preparations?
We hosted an evening to inform parents and guardians about all
things Salou. We outlined specifically what we would be doing, day
by day, and exactly what students needed to take.
We made the parents aware of our department twitter feed. We used
this feed to keep parents informed of things in the build up to our tour
and whilst on the tour itself.
You were very active on MasterClass social media feeds
whilst on tour, do you see this as being key to involving
parents and colleagues about what their students and
children are getting up to on tour?
The twitter feed was a huge success and parents specifically complimented the department
on its use before and during the tour. For most parents it will be the first time they have been
without there son/daughter for that duration of time, for many this is a nervous time.
The feedback we received was very complimentary and most said how brilliant it was to see
and know exactly what their child was up to.
What do you think the key to a successful tour is?
Organisation, without this from the person in charge of the tour and the
tour company, the running of the trip would have been unsuccessful.

hoW do i get a quote?
If you would like a quotation for any of the
destinations in this brochure, please contact one of
the office team who would be happy to assist.
Whether you have toured with us many times before or are a first
time group leader, we would like to draw to your attention the
following key points:

Our tour managers go to great lengths to ensure your tour price
is as accurate as possible, when increases are most likely where
passenger numbers decrease, ‘low-cost’ flights are included or
where the tour’s intended date of departure is relatively soon.
Book early to achieve the best value and price and keep
your tour manager informed of progress, as he/she may be
able to hold options and reserve elements of your tour (on a
non-obligation basis) to help preserve the price.
hoW do i booK?
After reading our K t&C’s on our website, complete our
K Online Booking Form. Remember no reservations will be
made on your behalf until:
/ We have received a completed Booking Form
with the appropriate deposit (see table below).
/ Your booking has been accepted and a confirmation
invoice being issued. No bookings will be confirmed
until we have a contract signed by you as the group
leader and cleared deposit payment.

Where you choose a low-cost airline for your arrangements, a
larger deposit may be required to cover the full air fare cost.
Any increased amount will be specified in our offer terms. The

payments to clear).
If we do not receive all payments due (including any surcharge
where applicable) in full and on time, we reserve the right to
treat your booking as cancelled by you. In this case we will be
entitled to keep all deposits paid or due at that date.

No-frills/low-cost airlines such as Easyjet and Ryanair
can often provide substantial savings for air travel to
a large number of our European destinations.
To take full advantage of their services, it’s important to consider
the following:
/ The cheapest fares are generally available the earlier you book.
/ Fares are constantly changing and are likely to continue
increasing in price until the day of departure. To avoid airfare
increases, book early to have a guaranteed fare.
/ Low-cost flights require full payment up front. Without a
deposit sufficient to cover the cost of your chosen flights,
your booking will not be completed by your tour manager.
Please request a clear indication of how much deposit is
required from that person.
/ If your specific flights are not yet available, an estimated cost
will be factored in to prepare the quote. This can be revised and
will always be confirmed at the time of booking the flights.
/ A complete and accurate names list is required at the time
of booking. Names must be as they appear in an individual’s
passport as all name changes will incur an airline-imposed fee.
/ Cancellations are liable for the full cost of the air fare, plus any
additional deposit amount paid. Deposits can only be refunded
if a group or individual cancel prior to flights being purchased.

In the event of a breakdown, if it is necessary to provide a replacement
vehicle overseas, due to the different legislation in countries outside
the UK, this may not be possible if a non-UK coach is supplied.

Any change to your confirmed numbers may affect your overall
price per person.

If travelling via coach, MasterClass charge a standard
name change fee of £10 per passenger for changes
made 29 days or more prior to tour.
After this period all name changes will be charged £30 per passenger
up until point of travel. Further fees may be charged by airlines.

Are There Free SuperviSorY

MasterClass provides a 1:8 free place ratio for staff
accompanying a group, unless otherwise stated on
your invoice.
If a school has specific requirements, we will cater for individual
groups for a supplement fee. Adults on free places are
accommodated in twin bedded rooms (with the exception of
some youth hostels where this is not possible, please refer to the
specific hostel description for details).
Subject to availability, single rooms are provided free of charge
if the male/female composition of the accompanying staff make
them absolutely necessary. All single room preference requests
will incur a supplement fee.
SuperviSion?
The official group leader in charge of the group
warrants that he or she will supervise the group in
loco parentis.
Each group leader is responsible for the good behaviour and
discipline of the group throughout. No group member under 18
years will be allowed to consume alcoholic beverages.
No member of the group shall be permitted to smoke in
bedrooms or otherwise cause fire hazards and all group members
shall be made positively aware of the above obligations prior to
the tour commencing. (Please also refer to our K t&C’s).

Your tour manager will advise on your specific
passport/visa requirements, other immigration
requirements are your responsibility.
You should confirm these with the relevant Embassies and/or
Consulates. You may also require permission from the sporting body
(e.g. The RFU) or local authority to which your club or school side is
affiliated. Please ensure you do this in advance of your departure or
it may jeopardise your existing insurance arrangements.

inSuranCe inCluded?
You must have travel insurance when you travel with us.
You will be offered a policy at the time of booking which you
are free to decline or accept. If you accept, the cost of this will be
added to your invoice. If you decline you must forward us details
of the policy you have put in place immediately.
