<strong>2011</strong> In Review<br />
<strong>Cranford</strong> <strong>Police</strong> <strong>Department</strong> Promotions<br />
Edward Davenport was promoted to the<br />
rank of Detective Lieutenant after having<br />
been assigned as a supervisor in the Patrol<br />
Division. Detective Lieutenant Davenport is<br />
now in <strong>com</strong>mand of the Traffic Division.<br />
He is shown above with his family at the<br />
promotional ceremony on February 8th.<br />
Joseph Van Bergen was promoted to the<br />
rank of Captain after having served as the<br />
Traffic Division <strong>com</strong>mander at the rank of<br />
Detective Lieutenant. Captain Van Bergen is<br />
now assigned to the Administrative Office of<br />
the Chief of <strong>Police</strong>.<br />
