should also be superscribed with the tender No., stores and date of tender opening.
c) The Technical Bids are to be opened at the first instance and evaluated by Competent
Committee or Authority. At the second stage, Financial Bid of only technically acceptable offers
will be opened for further evaluation and ranking before awarding the contract.
d) EMD should be furnished for the amount as indicated in Tender Notice. Earnest Money
should be accepted in the form of Account Payee Demand Draft, Banker’s Cheque (for
local firms only) or a Bank Guarantee in acceptable form from any of the commercial Banks.
Account Payee Demand Draft , Fixed Deposit Receipt, Banker’s Cheque only Local firms
should be drawn in favor of The DIGP, Group Centre CRPF, Lucknow, payable at SBI, JAIL
ROAD BRANCH, LUCKNOW (Code–9019). Bank Guarantee should be in the requisite
format (Model Format at Annexure –B) and kept in a sealed separate cover super scribing
E.M.D. without mentioning amount. Quotations received without EMD from non-
NSIC/DGS&D or EMD with less amounts will be summarily rejected. Tenderer will not be
allowed to withdraw his offer. EMD shall be forfeited if tenderer fails to honor the contract.
Similarly firms, who are specifically registered for the stores as per specified Specifications with
DGS&D/NSIC, but with a lower ‘monetary limit, will be treated as UNREGISTERED for their
value exceeding their monetary limit of registration. Such firms shall be required to deposit
proportionate earnest money over and above the monetary limit. In case such firms fail to deposit
Earnest Money, their offer for the tender value exceeding their monetary limit is liable to be
ignored.
e) The quotation should be signed by the proprietor/authorized person with his full name
and status indicating clearly below his signature.
f) Quotations will be considered for the items for which rates have been quoted strictly
according to the specification. The rates should be quoted in Indian Rupees only. The rates must
be written in figure as well as in words. Alterations in the rates will not be considered.
g) In case the firm does not complete the supply within stipulated time, Liquidated damages
will be charged @ 2% of the total cost of the items and if required, action will be taken against
the firm to Blacklist and also for forfeiture of its security deposit.
h) Quotations should be addressed to The DIGP, GC CRPF, Bijnaur, Lucknow. U.P and
must reach by the closing date mentioned in the Tender Notice latest by 02-30 P.M. in the
Tender Box placed at the Main Office Building. Quotations sent by post/courier should be
delivered in the office by 02-30 P.M. on the fixed date.
i) Quotations i.e. Technical bids only will be opened on the same day at 04-00 p.m.
Tenderers or their representatives may be present at the time of opening the quotations
(Technical bids), if so desire. Date for opening of financial bids will be intimated to scrutinized
and qualified bidders in the technical bid later on.
j) Quotations received late after due date and time will be rejected.
k) The price quoted should be for complete in terms of reference. Rates should be quoted
item wise separately.
