As is well known in Shoshone and Numic studies, Shoshone words may end in "final features"
which are not pronounced when a word is said by itself, but which have are realized if a consonant
follows. For example, the singular possessor marker eN ends in the nasalizing final feature. The
nasal final feature realizes as a homo-organic nasal with the following consonant.
en dembi 'your rock'
em bungku 'your horse'
em mo'o 'your head'
