KOSHER ALERTS
The kosher status of several QT
smoothies has recently come under question.
Do not buy Black Cherry, Juicy
Orange, or Melon Berry smoothies until
further notice from the AKC.
The AKC has checked into soft-serve
ice creams and nonfat frozen yogurts currently
sold at select QT stores, and they
currently meet kosher requirements for the
summer of 2012. This approval applies
only to ice cream and yogurts, not to
smoothies.
All Brusters ice creams are now kosher
dairy, including all peanut butter flavors.
The only non-kosher items in the store are
piecrusts, gummy worms, and ground Oreo
powder. This is a temporary approval, for
the summer only. Check back with the
AKC Office for updates in the fall.
Nature Valley Dark Chocolate & Nut
Trail Mix Chewy Granola Bars, produced
by General Mills, of Minneapolis,
Minnesota, are not certified kosher. Some
packages mistakenly have an OU on them.
Corrective measures have been implemented.
