HYUNDAI<br />
The Hyundai crew debuted several Genesis project collaborations, including a<br />
turbocharged 4-cylinder from GReddy that has also been fitted with a fresh JP<br />
body kit and massive GREX brake calipers. Rhys Millen came to the game with<br />
the RM460 Genesis, an obviously custom piece that rocks a mid-engine V8<br />
Genesis sedan engine but topped with individual throttle bodies and the ability to<br />
produce 500 hp.<br />
Lisa Kubo may have kept a low profile the past few years but<br />
the drag racing queen may step back into action in a big way<br />
with her new Acura Integra dragster. Built by M Factory, this<br />
was a sleeper hit at the show, giving many drag racing fans<br />
an instant boner jam because of the engine setup. The only<br />
thing left is to see how fast this thing is going to go…<br />

AMERICAN HONDA<br />
Vintage classics that we thought were long gone made special cameo<br />
appearances in Honda’s booth, including the full-scale Hot Wheels Civic that<br />
we helped build back in ’01 (that had matching Hot Wheels toys made to<br />
coincide with the build); and a Mugen-equipped ’85 CRX, complete with aero,<br />
exhaust and wheels. Be on the lookout for more Mugen goodness as they’ve just<br />
launched an accessory line for the current generation Accord sedan.<br />
What SEMA Show would be complete without seeing what Mackin Industries, the<br />
official importers of Volk Racing, ARC, ADVAN wheels and Project Mü had to offer?<br />
While the big new wheel debuts from Volk won’t happen until the 2010 Tokyo Auto<br />
Salon, they did tell us that about the CE-28 Genesis that has new finishing touches<br />
and color scheme to set the wheel off very proper. ARC has added to its line of air<br />
intake boxes and oil catch tanks, as did Project Mü with brake pads, but please call to<br />
