work falls into <strong>the</strong> following classific<strong>at</strong>ions: broadsides; business<br />
items; greeting cards; keepsakes; three-dimensional objects; travel<br />
sketches; and type design. Greeting cards, by far <strong>the</strong> largest c<strong>at</strong>egory<br />
with over 42 entries, are arranged chronologically. Und<strong>at</strong>ed<br />
cards fall before d<strong>at</strong>ed ones, and <strong>the</strong>y are arranged in a rough<br />
chronological order based on circumstantial evidence. <strong>The</strong> cards,<br />
which almost exclusively <strong>of</strong>fer season’s and new year greetings,<br />
vary widely in lettering and illustr<strong>at</strong>ion style as well as form<strong>at</strong>.<br />
Only artwork and photographs are filed here for three-dimensional<br />
object projects, such as <strong>the</strong> Elijah bowl and Judaica and<br />
Jewish ritual objects.<br />
Unidentified <strong>Work</strong> concludes Series IV. Excluding four finished<br />
products, this subseries contains principally artwork for projects<br />
<strong>of</strong> unknown origin. Files are classified by intent th<strong>at</strong> was determined<br />
using ei<strong>the</strong>r inform<strong>at</strong>ion provided with <strong>the</strong> archive or<br />
o<strong>the</strong>r knowledge and evidence.<br />
