drawings, exhibition panels, models, and audio/visual materials relating to client work.<br />

Scope and content: Most folders contain correspondence with clients regarding projects.<br />
Some contain notes, reports, photostats, photographs, clippings, etc. and are noted as such.<br />
Although not extensive, also includes professional correspondence with individuals such as<br />
Ezra Stoller, R. Buckminster Fuller, Edward “Tink” Adams, and Robert Osborn. A 1966<br />
guestbook for the Chromosome: Genes in Action exhibit contains the signatures of<br />
colleagues such as Dr. Robert L. Leslie, Jerry Cooke, Cipe Pineles, Estelle Ellis<br />
Rubinstein, and Max Gschwind. Quoted folder headings were taken directly from <strong>Burtin</strong>’s<br />
descriptions of the material.<br />
Arrangement: Alphabetical by client/correspondent and project. Client files with<br />
numerous projects (such as Upjohn), are alphabetized under the client name. Unknown<br />
clients are filed under the project name.<br />
