Hay production was high in 2011 while prices were setting record highs. As a result, value of production grew 29 percent above the previous high, set in 2008. Potato production value of production set a record in 2011 and it was the highest production since 2002. Although potato prices declined, from 2010, 2011 was still the third highest season average price ever and was the highest potato acreage since 2003.
