M-<strong>Audio</strong> driver installation is not required in order to use <strong>KeyStudio</strong> <strong>49i</strong> with the GM Module software on your Macintosh<br />

OS X computer These drivers are however, required for Pro Tools M-Powered use<br />

NOTE: Disconnect your <strong>KeyStudio</strong> <strong>49i</strong> keyboard from your computer until the appropriate driver files have been copied to<br />

your hard drive. Be sure to leave your <strong>KeyStudio</strong> <strong>49i</strong> disconnected until instructed to connect it below.<br />

1 Download the most recent <strong>KeyStudio</strong> <strong>49i</strong> Macintosh drivers by going to the Support > Drivers page at www m-audio com<br />

2 Double-click the file once it has finished downloading<br />

3 Follow the driver installer’s on-screen instructions During Installation, Mac OS X will ask you to enter your user name and<br />

password Enter this information and click OK to confirm If you have not configured a password for your computer, leave<br />

the password field blank and click OK If you are not the computer’s owner, ask the owner or your Administrator for the<br />

missing information<br />

4 Click “Close” once the installer has completed the installation and connect your <strong>KeyStudio</strong> <strong>49i</strong> keyboard to your<br />

computer using the USB cable provided *<br />

5 Your <strong>KeyStudio</strong> <strong>49i</strong> is now ready to use<br />

*The single USB cable not only powers the keyboard but also sends MIDI data to and from your computer system.
