Quick Start to Success Program Tips
What’s the value of QSS Achievers?
QSS Achievers bring excitement and growth to your Team!
• New Consultants experience success right away
• Consultants who get started successfully with QSS are more likely to continue
• Others on your Team will follow their lead and be inspired by their energy
Coaching a new Consultant through QSS
A new Consultant relies on your advice and guidance. Remember how you felt when you were
just starting out with Epicure. Keep it simple. Don’t overwhelm her by trying to teach
everything at once.
Get her involved right away. Do her Grand Opening Party as soon as possible after she
signs her agreement. Her enthusiasm will lessen as each day goes by.
Help her make her contact list. New Consultants often skip this vital step because they
think they “know” who will agree to book or join them in the business. Teach her not to
pre-‐judge.
At the end of her initial training, give her an incentive for the next 48 hours to get bookings
with dates. Verify she knows who to ask and what to say when booking before she leaves.
Coach her to schedule five Parties at her Grand Opening Party. This will put her even closer
to earning QSS rewards.
Know her goals. If you understand HOW COME she joined, WHEN she is available to work
and WHAT she wants to achieve, it will be much easier for you to help her make a plan that
fits her needs.
Help her make a plan to achieve one specific goal first. For example, if she wants to earn
enough to pay her $300 car payment, show her that she will need to hold three or four
Parties. Coach her on how to accomplish this and let her know the additional rewards she
will receive with QSS.
Have her join you at one or two Parties to observe and fine-‐tune her skills.
Set expectations. New Consultants are calmer and more focused when they know what’s
expected of them. Your new Consultant is “in training” during her QSS period. When she
understands that Epicure has a proven system for success, she will feel much more
confident about her own success.
Watch her dates. She is new and has so much to think about. She probably won’t pay
attention to her QSS dates, so you need to pay attention for her. Keep an eye on her sales
and help her find a QSS partner. Getting off to a great start will encourage her to persevere
when she hits some rough spots.
On training calls, ask: “Has anyone asked you how your business is going or if you are
making any money?” Listen to her response, then reply, “We call those green flags.” They
are actually asking because they are thinking about doing this as well. “Shall we get
together with them and share the Business Opportunity?” Offer to conduct the
appointment so that she can get comfortable with the words to say when sharing the
opportunity.
Encourage new Consultants to believe they can get off to a great start!
When they KNOW you believe in them, it’s easier for them to believe in themselves!
• Stay in touch every couple of days in the first two weeks
• Show her how to track her sales and new Team members
• Applaud each step of success she takes! No matter how small the achievement, it’s big
to her. (Postcards and emails are both great ways to let her know you noticed.)
• Don’t stop working on QSS until the final day!
Create the culture for a Team of QSS Achievers
• During Team meetings, recognize all of your previous QSS Achievers. In time, you will
find three quarters of the room standing for recognition. New Consultants who join your
Team will believe they can do it, too!
• Make a poster to list the names of every Achiever. Take a picture of your Consultant to
put on the poster with her name and the date. When a QSS Achiever is rewarded for
Sponsoring, take a picture of the QSS team
• Share how many business-‐building vouchers and cash rewards Achievers have earned
• As you are training, encourage a positive mindset by saying, “We are the very best at
having QSS Achievers! (When you believe it, you achieve it!)
• Recognize QSS Achievers and their sponsors in your monthly newsletter
Make your plan for QSS success! How will you work with your personal Team members,
and Team members sponsored by the Consultants on your Team, to assure that they are
QSS Achievers?
