M.Sc. or Diploma in Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Computational
Sciences in Engineering with specialization in Optimization
Strong background in Optimization and Algorithms, good knowledge of
advanced network flow algorithms, familiarity with applications in traffic control,
energy networks and related fields, knowledge of the corresponding state of the
art. Experience with MIP/IP solvers such as SCIP and CPLEX, working
knowledge of MATLAB, in addition to regular programming skills.
Ability and willingness to be a member of a large, multi-faceted and
interdisciplinary team, excellent skills in spoken and written English; knowledge
of German is a plus
