Diagnosis
* by deep biopsy at time of gastroscopy (or at
laparotomy);
- usually, B - cell non - Hodgkin's lymphoma;
- from well - differentiated, superficial processes
(mucosa - associated lymphoid tissue, MALT) to
high - grade, large cell lymphomas;
- initially spreads to regional lymph nodes (often
to Waldeyer's ring) and may disseminate;
- staged like other lymphomas
