objective of the fund is to set up a regionally diversified portfolio of prime<br />

logistics properties in <strong>Euro</strong>pe providing high returns and capital growth.<br />

the fund targets at dominant and important locations for logistics and<br />

industrial properties across <strong>Euro</strong>pe. it performs a core investment strategy<br />

with a focus on modern and flexible design and lot sizes between 10 and<br />

30 million Eur. the target fund size is 750 million Eur.<br />

Legal Structure<br />

<strong>Euro</strong> <strong>Logistik</strong> 1 is an open-ended real estate special fund for institutional<br />

investors based on the german investment Act.<br />

Investment Term<br />

the fund was established in 2003. the investment term and the strategic<br />

investment policy are long-term. the fund’s term is perpetual.<br />

the fund is mainly dedicated to german institutional investors. With its<br />

selective investment strategy and the focus on <strong>Euro</strong>pean logistics properties,<br />

the fund is denominated in euro (Eur). Currency risks will be hedged<br />

according to the fund’s hedging strategy.<br />

Supervisory Bodies<br />

the fund is monitored by the financial supervisory authority in germany<br />

(BaFin). At least annually, the fund’s properties are valued by independent<br />

appraisers. the application of funds is monitored by the custodian bank.<br />

Advisory Bodies<br />

the fund has a unitholder Advisory Committee (uAC) which advises the<br />

fund management in terms of fund strategy and investment activities. Fund<br />

investors are given a right to participate in the uAC subject to the rules of<br />

the fund’s legal framework.<br />

Subscription and redemption of Shares<br />

Basically at any time, investors may commit themselves or redeem their<br />

fund shares subject to the rules of the fund’s legal framework. the fund<br />

can levy redemption fees and can temporarily suspend redemptions<br />

for a limited period.<br />
