The success <strong>of</strong> the Friends <strong>of</strong> Women’s <strong>Studies</strong> fundraising drive enabled our students to acquire<br />
valuable educational experiences outside the classroom and lent support to other Women’s <strong>Studies</strong><br />
events. Women’s <strong>Studies</strong> Donations from friends and corporate sponsors funded scholarships, student<br />
travel to pr<strong>of</strong>essional conferences, and outreach activities. The Friends’ donations were greatly<br />
