The following Eq. (18) expresses the past performance of the student when facing vocabulary. One of the indicators<br />

is PV(ly), which is the percentage of the absence of vocabulary inquiries by student ly., among all the words that<br />

appear in the reading materials previously read by that student, which indicates the performance history of the<br />

student ly. Another indicator is QV(ly), which is the percentage of the inquiries made by all the other students, among<br />

all the words inquired by the student ly, which is a comparison of the ability of the student ly against the ability of all<br />
