League honored supporters at a<br />

banquet with 150 people attending<br />

from the surrounding counties.<br />

Special recognition awards were<br />

given for Outstanding Individual,<br />

Group Volunteerism, Financial<br />

Support.<br />

Three volunteers received patriotic mugs for volunteering over 1,000 Hours EACH: Elaine Powers, Violet<br />

Schonberner, and Lela Foster.<br />

TSgt Felicia Haecker (left) brought the WAFB First Term Airman Class (FTAC) to tour the Home and visit<br />

with <strong>Veterans</strong>. Charlie McGaugh (center) showed the group his newest project, a model of the RB-36H<br />

Peacemaker which has a 3’ wing span and 22” fuselage.<br />

Federated Garden Club and UCM NU Society planted daffodils last fall for everyone to enjoy this spring!
