Fig 1. The rings lifting socket consist of three valve different washer segment grout plug<br />

types. Segments are supplied to the erector in<br />

a predetermined sequence dependant upon the<br />

alignment required.<br />

The ring orientation is altered by erecting segments in<br />

a different order.<br />

Fig 2. The staggered joint pattern, avoiding the<br />

cruciform joint (where the edges of four corners meet)<br />

is a major feature.<br />

Bolt pockets <strong>and</strong> caulking grooves are caulked or<br />

pointed to provide the finished lining.<br />

Fig 3. The plastic grout/lifting socket has a specially<br />

developed coarse thread for tunnel <strong>and</strong> shaft linings<br />

which allows easy thread starting <strong>and</strong> fast fixing.<br />

Plastic non-return valve, threaded grout plug <strong>and</strong><br />

sealing washer are also available.<br />
