<strong>Three</strong> teen-agers have been arrested in the slayings ofthree 8-year-old boys whose bodies were found last month in<br />
a drainage ditch, the police said today.<br />
Police Inspector Gary Gitchell identified the teen-agers but would not discuss motives or disclose what investigators<br />
had found in searching the youths' homes.<br />
The victims, Christopher Byers, Michael Moore and Steve Edward Branch, disappeared May 5 while riding bicycles<br />
in their neighborhood. The next day the authorities discovered their bodies in a ditch in a nearby wooded, undeveloped<br />
area known to residents as Robin Hood Park.<br />
Inspector Gitchell said court appearances on capital murder charges were planned for Jesse Lloyd Misskelley, 17,<br />
ofMarion; Michael Wayne Echols, 18, of<strong>West</strong> <strong>Memphis</strong>, and Charles Jason Baldwin, 16, ofMarion.<br />
