Directions: take highway Rv134 from haugesund. the first
stop is at Åkrafjordtunet. afterwards, continue in the direction
of odda and on to Lofthus on highway Rv13.

chance to taste local fruit during the summer and autumn.
edvard grieg’s writing room, where the composer wrote
some his best known works, can be seen in the garden of
the hotel ullenvang at Lofthus. it is also possible on this, day
3, to visit Folgefonna national Park, which can be reached
by car from Jondal during the summer. Folgefonna national
Park is home to norway’s third largest glacier, a tour of
which can be undertaken with a guide.
Directions: take highway Rv13 from Lofthus to Kinsarvik.
take the ferry from Kinsarvik to utne (30 min.). Follow the
national tourist road from utne til Jondal. Continue to Folgefonna
summer ski Centre. From Jondal to tørvikbygd by
ferry over hardangerfjorden Fjord (25 mins.). Continue on to
gjermundshavn and cross the fjord again by ferry to Årsnes
(20 mins.). Continue on to Rosendal.
